Megan Marie Grogan September 5, 1956 to December 22, 2022. Megan passed away peacefully with family by her bedside. Megan was born in Palo Alto, CA spending most of her childhood living in Portola Valley. She graduated from the Castilleja School and attended the University of Puget Sound and Bassist, earning an Associate’s degree.

A long-time resident of Mill Valley, Megan was very active with the Mill Valley public schools, and the local and State PTA. She was also very proud of her work with the Marin County School to Career Partnershi­p. A program with the Marin County Office of Education that connects students with community business leaders, enabling the students to gain valuable real world job experience and to learn about different career fields. Megan enjoyed collecting early American quilts and antiques and one day hoped to open her own antique store to connect with the antique community. She loved her family and was a great storytelle­r of her family history, keeping those memories of loved ones alive. She valued her friendship­s immensely.

Megan was an avid fan of Bay Area sports teams and a daily listener of KNBR so she could provide updates to her Portland based family about the latest news. Megan is preceded in death by her parents Thomas J Grogan and Patricia V. Grogan, and her sister Shawn.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Bruce Anderson, their sons Justin J. Anderson of Portland, OR., Chris J. Anderson of Hillsboro, OR, grandchild­ren Henry and Eleanor Anderson, and her brother Dr. Thomas J. Grogan of Santa Monica, CA.
