In Loving Memory of Gerry Zalkovsky September 21,1941-October 25,2023

Gerry Zalkovsky, a native of Dallas, Texas, passed away on October 25,2023, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable achievemen­ts and cherished memories. She was born on September 21, 1941 and was the epitome of independen­ce and determinat­ion.

Gerry’s loving husband, Chick Tooker, preceded her in death in 2006. They were happily married for 27 years. She is survived by her beloved brother, Charlie [Sally],brother, David [Melanie] along with nieces Emily and Kelly, and nephew, Andrew.

Gerry excelled in all profession­al endeavors, including her service with The Peace Corps in Columbia and a real estate career in San Francisco, culminatin­g in her final position as an asset manager with Grosvenor Internatio­nal.

Gerry had a passion for adventure and shared a love for sailing with her husband, Chick. She loved music and was an avid Elvis Presley fan! Her affection extended to her feline companions as she doted on her precious cats. Gerry enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She had a lovely group of friends who remained in contact for many years. A celebratio­n was not complete without a glass of champagne to raise a toast.

The Zalkovsky family wishes to express their gratitude to Nona Leone and Channy Uk for their unwavering dedication to Gerry during her final years.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Gerry Zalkovsky will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church located at 3 Oakdale Ave. at Blithedale in Mill Valley, CA

Following the service, the family and invitees will gather privately to celebrate Gerry’s life. Gerry will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Hers was a life well-lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul of San Rafael, Habitat for Humanity, St. Anthony’s Foundation of San Francisco or the Buck Institute.
