Anderson Boyd Page

September 11, 1973 - November 18, 2023

-

Anderson Boyd Page left this world peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on November 18, 2023 following his fight against Melanoma. Anderson was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be endlessly missed. He was 50 years old.

Born on September 11, 1973 in Charlotte, North Carolina, he attended Charlotte Country Day School and later graduated with a BA in English from University of Colorado at Boulder. After college he moved to San Francisco, California where he began to work in the music industry at G.Gould Music and then with Modulus Guitars. He later worked in management at Mercedes Benz of San Francisco, where he was valued not only for his hard work, but also his camaraderie. In 2001 he married his beloved wife Laura, with whom he would have three sons: Jackson (19), Kingston (18) and Christopher “Ryder” (15). The pride and values he instilled in them will be his legacy and will live on in them always.

Anderson shared with the world many gifts, including his charming smile and huge bear hugs. His love of music was another of these gifts; it was as if it inhabited him. He was practically a walking encyclopedia of music facts from the 60’s to today. From his high school days to just before his death, one of his greatest joys was both listening to (preferably live) music and making it. He most recently played bass with the group Dark & Stormy, who over the last decade became some of his dearest friends.

He is survived by his wife Laura Barsotti Page and their children Jackson, Kingston and Ryder (Mill Valley, CA); his mother Mary Ingle Council and her husband John; his sister

Julie Page Smith and her husband Josh, and their daughters Ada Lee and Frankie (all of Charlotte, NC); as well as Laura’s loving family: Geri Barsotti, David and Tracy Barsotti and their children Fargo and Siena, plus a lengthy list of dear friends and family.

Anderson was preceded in death by his brother Christopher Ingle Page and his father Russell “Rusty” Page.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 3 Bayview Avenue, Belvedere CA. There will also be a service for the family on Dec. 27, 2023 at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlotte, NC, with a gathering for family and friends to follow.
