Life Tributes Susan P. Shea

June 24, 1952 - November 11, 2023

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Susan Patricia Shea, 71, in Sonoma County, CA, on November 11, 2023. Susan was born in San Francisco, CA, to Con and Patricia Shea on June 24, 1952. She attended St. Cecilia’s, graduated from Mercy High School in 1970 and studied at City College of San Francisco. She loved San Francisco and lived there most of her life. Susan was a dedicated, reliable, hardworking employee. She worked in customer service up until she retired this past July. Susan always made time for her family, always willing to make the drive from San Francisco to Santa Rosa to celebrate the holidays with them. She would always be there for her nieces and nephews birthdays, graduations and weddings and then her great nieces and nephews many celebrations. She was a wonderful loving aunt.

Susan had the best memory. She remembered every important date and was always the first to call or text with a celebratory message. She always knew so many interesting facts about San Francisco and her family history.

Susan was a collector of many things she held dear. She was an excellent seamstress and made beautiful Christmas ornaments.

Susan is predeceased by her parents, Patricia and Con Shea, and her brotherin-law, David Daher.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Daher, along with her nieces and nephews: Katie Auslen (Gregg), Bryan Daher (Lindsay), Tom Daher (Erica) and Jessica Lackey (Josh), along with her 8 great nieces and nephews.

Susan will be greatly missed. The family is having a small private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Susan at your local food bank.
