Loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Bob passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, in Walnut Creek. Bob was born on June 28, 1932, in the front room of the Olson family’s home in Noe Valley, San Francisco.

Bob was the youngest of seven children. While in high school, Bob joined the Naval Reserve, and served in the submarine corp., Bob then joined the Army and went into the medical Corp., during the Korean War.

After Bob’s tours of duty, Bob married Daphne, who had shared 68 years together. Bob’s devotion to family and work, with love and affection affected more than just his wife and son, Stephen. Bob had the ability to inspire others to have stronger work ethics and became a better and stronger person. Bob became a glazier for the City of San Francisco, becoming a Real Estate Agent, Broker, Land Subdivider, Developer and an occasional boat builder.

Bob loved watching the San Francisco 49ers, and the San Francisco Giants, play ball. Bob enjoyed listening to music and dancing, traveling the world, playing golf, fishing, hunting, snow and water skiing, scuba diving, boating, building, being creative and a good book. Bob further enjoyed the close companions­hip and comradery of family, friends and business partners. Bob also loved working to make our lives better.

Thank you, Bob, for being the wonderful caring person that you were. You did make a difference in our lives, and you will be loved and forever missed.
