Throughout her life, Caroll passionate­ly that everyone should be treated kindly and fairly. She worked hard in order to buy a home for her and her children, sometimes working three jobs at once. In later life she enjoyed her work with children at Edison Elementary School. She also worked as a school crossing guard and enjoyed her volunteer work for St. Anthony’s in San Francisco. Caroll’s life experience instilled in her a deep empathy for those who worked hard to survive and succeed.

Caroll is survived by her sons, Rafael Perez, Jr., (Vanessa) of Sacramento, Jason Perez (Alex Chen) of San Francisco, two grandchild­ren (Madeline and Ryan), siblings (Don, Victoria and Stan), and her cat, Cisco.

Caroll will be greatly missed, but her impact on all of our lives will be felt forever.
