AppCentral Inc. appointed Richard Greene president and CEO and Pete Buhl chief operating officer. Greene previously was vice president of global partners at McAfee Inc. and Buhl was co-founding partner at BlueRun Ventures. The company also hired former McAfee executives John Dasher as vice president of products and marketing and Michael Barnes as vice president of engineering. Dasher was senior director of marketing for the data protection and mobile business units, while Barnes led the development of enterprise firewall products.
