Save the Redwoods League appointed James Larson and Melinda
Thomasas president and vice president of the board of directors, respectively. Larson was previously a member of the league’s board and is a California board-certified attorney specialist in estate and trust law and a pro bono adviser to nonprofits. Thomas was also a board member and works as an inaugural entrepreneur in residence for New York City.
Square 1 Bank hired Benjermin Colombo as senior vice president of life sciences. Colombo was previously senior manager of life sciences at Silicon Valley Bank. Philip Korn joined as senior vice president of venture capital relationships/ banking. Korn was previously managing director at First Republic Bank. The company also hired Timothy McDonough as vice president of venture banking. McDonough was principal at Hercules Technology Growth Capital.
Aconex named Frank Kopas general manager of North America. Kopas was previously senior vice president of sales at Trilogy.
