Resident of Hillsborough

Born July 28, 1918, in San Francisco to Linda and Joaquin Rodriquez, passed away November 12, 2012 in Hillsborough, CA due to complications after a long fought battle with leukemia. Loving wife to Ambrose (Amby) for 55 years, who preceded her in death. Dorothy was at home surrounded by her loving children Gary (Marie), Gregory (Robin), Debra and her caregiver Laukau as well as Yetsuko. Dorothy (Nana) leaves behind 4 grandchildren Gary (Julia), Steven, Ashley and Kandis, her great grandchild Steven (Lauren), her great-great grandchild Knight, and her extended family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all she knew throughout her life, a strong determined woman to the end and will be immensely missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Mission Hospice for all their support throughout her final days. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Crosby-N. Gray & Co. #2 Park Road in Burlingame where the Vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, November 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Angels Church, 1721 Hillside Dr. Burlingame, CA followed by Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
