Body pulled from ocean off Point Bonita lighthouse

The U.S. Coast Guard recovered a body at 7:20 a.m. Sunday from the ocean near Point Bonita in the Marin Headlands.

A call came in to the Coast Guard from boaters either going into or coming out of Point Bonita, Coast Guard officials said Sunday. No identifica­tion was found on the victim, and officials have yet to determine the cause of death.

The case remains under investigat­ion.
