The California Bar Foundation has announced its leadership team. Sonia Gonzales is the executive director;
Natalia Merluzzi is the director of programming and policy, and Joe
Swimmer is the director of development and communications. Merluzzi joined the foundation as director of programming and policy in August 2012, and Swimmer joined the foundation in November 2012.
Debi Green, a real estate veteran previously with McGuire Real Estate, joined Vanguard Properties. Jed Lane, formerly of Coldwell Banker, also joined Vanguard Properties after a long history in San Francisco real estate and real estate boards. Vanguard’s Daniel Hershkowitz was appointed a commissioner on the city’s Assessment Appeals Board.
Allison+Partners promoted Phil Carpenter, formerly senior partner and general manager of the San Francisco office, to senior partner of the West Coast. Zach Colvin, formerly senior vice president, was promoted to general manager of San Francisco.
Evolution Bureau hired Steve Babcock as its executive creative director. Babcock was vice president, executive creative director at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colo.
Michael McGee, a private wealth adviser with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management’s San Francisco office, and Gregory Vaughan, a private wealth adviser of the firm’s Menlo Park office, were named to Barron’s annual list of America’s Top 1,000 Advisors.
YouSendIt added Ned Sizer as chief financial officer. Sizer brings experience leading IPOs, mergers and acquisitions at global technology and cloud-based companies to the company’s executive team.
Vocera Communications Inc. appointed Sandra Miley as its vice president of corporate marketing. Miley has fueled global expansion and accelerated growth of various brands, including Juniper Networks, Adobe, Brocade, Cisco and Nokia.
Aggregate Knowledge welcomed Sarah Ripmaster as senior vice president of strategic accounts. Ripmaster was previously senior vice president of sales at PointRoll.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage added East Bay Realtor and industry executive David Pierce to the company’s Orinda office. Throughout his 26-year career, Pierce has received many of his company’s top sales awards, including being among the top five producers companywide.
