Time transforms relationships at The Sequoias

It’s true that the older we become, the faster time seems to fly. Not to mention how quickly things can change.

In a picture taken in 2006, Steven was just five years old. During a break in the photo shoot, resident Rosemarie Banda sat little Steven down in the rose garden to teach him about Greece, one of her favorite places, by showing him a photography book.

Now, Steven is 12 years old and has returned to The Sequoias, where he has become the teacher! He has taught Rosemary how to use one of his favorite things — his iPad.

Time may have transformed their relationship, but judging by their smiles and laughter, Steven and Rosemary enjoy each other’s company just as much, if not more, than they did seven years ago.
