Mark Alan Rizzo

November 7, 1970 – September 10, 2014

Mark passed away peacefully on September 10th 2014, surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife Serena Mariotti-Rizzo and daughters Riley Grace Rizzo and Julia Abigail Rizzo: parents Anthony and Judith Rizzo, brothers: Christopher and Scott (Christina) Rizzo, Clark Mariotti (Chelsea), sisters: Patricia (Scott) RizzoAtkinson and Stephanie Sabini, and nephews: Jaxon, Garrett, and Wyatt Atkinson, Herbert Boston, nieces: Patty Rizzo, Paige and Yvonne Mariotti, and countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.

Born in Paterson New Jersey, Mark graduated from Willingboro High School Class of 1989, where he lettered in Soccer and Football, and was named 1989 Willingboro Scholar Athlete of the Year. As an adult Mark enjoyed many weekends playing golf. He attended Drexel University and studied Computer Science. Mark has worked in Information Technology at Conifer Securities for the past 15 years where he has many friends and colleagues.

Mark will be remembered for his gentle and calm demeanor and spirit, his ability to teach the most complex things in simple ways, and the love for his family and friends. His two daughters are the light and joy of his life. He is a great man and we are humbled to have walked this earth by his side. He is loved more than words can express and will be missed beyond measure.

Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service from 7 - 9 pm on 9/18 and a Funeral Mass at 10 am on 9/19, both at St. Anne of the Sunset Church.
