Lee-Ann McCurdy

Heaven gained a beautiful new angel on December 23rd when Lee-Ann received her wings. Up until her very last breath she taught us all what true strength is. Lee-Ann was born on April 30, 1955 in San Francisco. She graduated in 1973 from Westmoor High School where she made many lifelong friends. In 1978 she met and married the love of her life, Mike. LeeAnn taught preschool for many years and eventually became the Director at St. Andrew’s preschool until 2002. Lee-Ann had a love and vibrance that lit up any room she walked into. “Motor” as she was often called had an endless circle of friends. Some of Lee-Ann’s happiest times were spent at Lake Berryessa where she loved to water ski. She had a huge love for animals, elderly people, and children… especially her Lambchopie and Daisy. Music and cooking always made her happy. She is survived by husband Mike, Daughter Nicole (Michael) Schirmer, grandchildren Christian and Kaylee, Brother Bob (Lisa) Fidler, Step-mother, Lila Fidler, Aunt, Ann Baiocchi, nephew Ryan, many nieces and nephews, best friend Pat Lane and her beloved dog, Marley. Lee-Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Moreno, her father, Robert Fidler, Step-father, Tony Moreno, , Aunts Kay Robay &, niece Angela Ramirez. A special “Thank You” to her Bilby for taking such good care of her and always making sure she had a fire burning strong. Mom was a fighter and I know her songs of the pain and beauty in the world will fill many people with incredible joy she felt for life. Many Thanks to Hospice by the Bay for the utmost love and caring you showed my mom in her final days.

Friends and family may attend a Memorial Mass at 10am, Mon., Dec. 29th St. Veronica Church, 434 Alida Way, So.SF. Private Interment. Contributions may be made in memory of Lee-Ann M.
