Mercury’s move into Gemini for the long term will ultimately run into a planetary retrograde. It’s a big deal for Geminis but will affect everyone. Aries (March 20-April 18) With Mercury whirling around your charm and chat room, life is sure to heat up. Expect witty new contacts. Communications of all kinds are advantageous, but say what you mean. Walk softly and carry a tape recorder. Taurus (April 19-May 19) You enjoy a birthday high. Have a good one, but keep in mind that rogue Mercury has set up his Monopoly board in your money house. A Pass Go card exists; just be careful how you play it lest there be a joker in the deck. Gemini (May 20-June 20) If you haven’t felt the Mercury buzz, you soon will. Enjoy the moment, because topsyturvy time is coming. Spiritual types maintain that it’s the cosmos’ way of teaching us patience. Others say the communication fairy is out to lunch. Cancer ( June 21-July 21) Getting credit for what you do has never topped your list. You’re more the “virtue is its own reward” type. This week a surprise communication related to the past brings an issue together. Expect to carry the day and receive plaudits. Leo ( July 22-Aug. 22) Jovial Jupiter holds the purse strings as Mercury pirouettes in your wish house. Possibilities abound. Actualize goals by playing nice with colleagues. It’s a “who you know” thing. Make it happen. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) You are the block mom (or dad) of your office — arranging things, running errands, delivering messages. But what have you done for you lately? Words from your silver tongue can forge a better working relationship with someone difficult. Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) A restless Mercury tickles your travel bone yet again. Time now to make plans, line things up. But with wayward Mercury as chief travel agent, you’re best off with a staycation until summer. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) With mischievous Mercury in your hormone house, lovers and other strangers hold the reins. Push back on that urge to sting. Decide instead what you really want in situations involving intimacy, joint funds or both. Then get it. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 20) If there was ever a sign able to go the long haul alone, it’s independent you. But is that what you want? The vibes are right for a “bigger than both of us” gamble.
