Connie Mullin

-

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 20th and is now off on a new adventure! Born Cornelia Lott on August 2, 1923 in Canton, Ohio she was a Hall of Fame, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as a loyal and fun friend. Raised in Alhambra, Ca she went on to the University of Redlands where she met the love her life, Joseph. The two were married in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. After the war, the couple settled in San Francisco where they began to raise their family of 6 children ( Connie, Mike, Dan, Rich, Peggy and Steve). Looking for room to grow, they moved to San Rafael where the family became active members of the community, especially St. Isabella Catholic Church and the Cursillo Movement. Connie was proud to call herself a homemaker and she would be known to refer to her career as one who “raised human beings”. As the demands of family life waned, she went to work as a bookkeeper and account manager. In retirement, Connie and Joe liked to travel, be with family and entertain friends. Connie was a great hostess gathering people around the piano for song and the table for wonderful food and conversation. She was a woman of deep faith and steps forward on this new adventure believing in a loving God who will unite her with her husband, Joseph, son, Michael and her parents, Harrison and Cornelia. Her surviving children, their spouses, Maria, Kathy, Gayle, and Robin, 11 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren along with her brothers, Harry ( Ellie) and Jim invite you to celebrate her life at a Memorial Mass on June 1 at St. Isabella Catholic Church in San Rafael at 10: 30am. In lieu of flowers, send donations to The Nazareth House, 245 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA 94903. Assisted by Monte’s Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
