Matthew had many passions. He loved to be outside, at the beach, mountain biking, skiing, hiking and camping. Matthew loved to laugh and to bring laughter to others through music, dancing and silly jokes. Among many accomplishments, he was an Eagle Scout, served in the Navy from 1992 to 2000, and was an active member of Reach Potential Movement which served underprivileged youths. He was a creative entrepreneur, from selling prepaid phone cards and bubble gum machines as a teenager to his current passion for building companies as a venture capitalist. He always had a smile and gave a helping hand.

Matthew was special to so many people in so many ways and he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 12 at Cypress Lawn in Colma, CA. In honor of his memory and in lieu of flowers, please donate to The American Cancer Society.
