Quakes draw with Seattle

City produced a 90th-minute winner to beat Crystal Palace 1-0 and secure a fifth win in five matches, while defending champion Chelsea slumped to a 3-1 defeat at Everton behind Steven Naismith’s hat trick, sealing its worst start in the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo recorded his second career five-goal game to lead Real Madrid’s 6-0 rout at Espanyol, taking his tally to 231 goals and eclipsing Raul Gonzalez’s team mark of 228. Ronaldo reached the milestone in 203 matches, compared with Gonzalez’s 550.
