Talk of must-win games this time of year is ridiculous. But the Raiders are clearly faced with a must-show-up and must-not-get-blown-out situation Sunday, after an awful season-opening loss to the Bengals.

Like last week’s, this game against the Ravens is also at O.co Coliseum, giving the Raiders a chance to get the Jack Del Rio era off to a good start. The last time Oakland hosted the first two games of the season was in 1969.

Ravens: T Eugene Monroe (head) is out; CB Rashaan Melvin (thigh) is questionable.

Sunday marks first time since October 1998 that the Ravens will line up without Ray Lewis, Ed Reed or Terrell Suggs. Suggs tore his Achilles tendon last week.

Baltimore outscored Oakland 133-49 in the past four meetings.

The Raiders converted both red-zone trips into touchdowns last week. They led the NFL last year by scoring TDs on 72.4 percent of red-zone trips.
