What’s in a name?
In a week with further news developments about the terrorist group ISIS, some American businesses with that name wished they had a different one. California biotech company Isis Pharmaceuticals told CNN that it’s considering changing its name. Isis Books & Gifts in Colorado was vandalized, prompting the store to plead on Facebook: “Please help us educate the media and your family and friends to call the terrorists by a more correct name — Daesh — not Islamic State, not ISIS, not ISIL.”
