Angela Eckard (Cuarezma)

Born December 20, 1915, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, November 16, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Helen and son-in-law Chuck; grandchildren, Carey, Steven, Lisa, Heather, Jeff and Hillary; and eight great-grandchildren; many, many beloved nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Born in Managua, Nicaragua, she came to the United States in 1945 to pursue her singing career. She lived in San Francisco for 68 years and her final year in Concord.

She worked many years at the Emporium and after her retirement, her favorite pastime was going shopping. She enjoyed traveling the continental US, Hawaii and her home country.

Rest in Peace, you will be missed!

Family and friends may visit Friday, November 27, 2015 at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City from 3 PM – 9 PM, rosary will be at 6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist, 19 Saint Mary’s Avenue, San Francisco, with interment to immediately follow at Cypress Lawn, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA.
