Franklin Landecker

Frank Landecker, a resident of San Mateo, California, passed away at Peninsula Hospital on November 13, 2015, at the age of 92.

Frank was a native of San Francisco. He served his country in WWII in the 8th Army Air Corp in England. After WWII he returned to San Francisco and went to U.C. Berkeley on the GI Bill, attaining his B.S. Frank went on to found his own company, Style Eyes of California, specializi­ng in the importing and wholesalin­g of fashion and sport sun glasses, until he sold his business in 1976, and he has been retired ever since. Frank had enjoyed a full life of traveling, golfing and fishing.

Frank is survived by his wife of 11 years, Linda Landecker, and his son from a prior marriage, Bruce Landecker (Lorraine). Frank is also survived by three step-children, Marc Begun (Cathy), Lorin Begun (Terri), and Fred Begun (Shari), from a prior marriage to Judith Begun Landecker, deceased, and two grandchild­ren, Jeremy Begun and Jana Begun.

Frank was laid to rest on November 16, 2015 at the Hills Of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma, California. The family asks that any gifts of remembranc­e be directed to the American Heart Associatio­n.
