Dr. Barbara Gail Verniest Caulley

1954 – 2015

Resident of Napa and former resident of Brisbane, SSF, San Carlos, San Mateo and Redwood City. Barb passed away on October 25th, 2015 at age 61. Barb dearly loved her son, Jaeson Caulley, her Daughter-inLaw Anne and two brothers (John and Joe Verniest); as well as her “Triplets” (Justin, Craig and Libby), not to mention her beloved 49ers and Warriors! She was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Golden Gate University and the College of Notre Dame. Barb was Married for 35 years to Mike Caulley and blessed the world with her son, and apple of her eye, Jaeson. She was staunchly devoted to helping others and always put the needs of others ahead of her own personal interests as demonstrated by the number of non-profit organizations she supported throughout her life to include the Success Through Education Program, Queen of the Valley Foundation and Teen Pregnancy Coalition. She was the ultimate authority at hosting a party or fundraising event and had many friends, family, colleagues and neighbors who loved her infectious spirit, beautiful smile & insatiable drive to not only improve the lives of those around her, but also the multitude of organizations she blessed with her involvement and association.

Cremated per her wishes, a celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 6th, at 1:00pm, at Poplar Creek Golf Course in San Mateo, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Success Through Education Program.
