Andrew Keck Leh

Andrew K. Leh passed away on November 14, 2015 with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law by his side. The second son of George Edward Leh and Elizabeth Keck Leh, he was born in Allentown, PA, on December 22, 1926. He graduated from The Lawrencevi­lle School NJ and Princeton University, and attended The Wharton School of Business. He served two years in the Merchant Marines at the end of World War II. He worked for 26 years in investment banking for First Boston Corporatio­n (Credit Suisse) and ended his career at Paine Webber (UBS). Andrew was a lifetime member of the San Francisco Bond Club, a member of the Peninsula Golf & Country Club, and the Swedish Club of the Bay Area. Andrew was a voracious reader, especially about history. He also enjoyed listening to classical music as well as all the Big Bands. He kept up to date on politics and finance and welcomed a good discussion on these subjects. He took pride in his garden and was well known for his cooking. Survived by his loving wife Birgitta of 53 years, son Mark (Elizabeth), and grandson Nevin. Also four children from an early marriage: Paget Lenarz, Drew Leh, Banda Leh, and Peter Leh. Also survived by brother Jack Leh (Marianne) of Allentown PA. As requested by Andrew no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MillsPenin­sula Hospital Foundation, 1501 Trousdale Drive, Burlingame, CA 94010
