Paul Zeffer died peacefully November 4th, 2015. Paul managed commercial bakeries for Oroweat and Parisian. He served as a consultant in Mexico, the Philippine­s and Panama. Paul loved horses, planes, boats, guns, biking, running, scuba, sky diving and all things Hungarian. He was a man’s man, comfortabl­e with animals, and an omnivorous reader. Men and women alike were captivated by him. Under the attentive guidance of Dr. Stephen Rich, Paul was given great care at Kaiser. One cannot say enough about the kind, profession­al and compassion­ate staff at the labs, home care, pharmacies, E. R. and hospital. The family is deeply indebted. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to The Public Library, Healdsburg Humane Society or The Bishop’s Ranch Retreat Center. A memorial service will be held at the Bishop’s Ranch, 5297 Westside Road, Healdsburg at the Chapel on Saturday, December 5th, 2PM. All are invited to the Zeffer home afterward for Paul’s farewell.
