GOP nominee
Even though, I am totally appalled by Donald Trump, he earned the Republican nomination fair and square. He has the required number of delegates, and has a passionate and vocal group of supporters. Now the Republican “establishment” is talking about a brokered convention, so someone else — not Trump — can become the Republican nominee. This is extraordinarily undemocratic! What is the point of even voting if those votes ultimately amount to nothing? Republicans have themselves to blame for the Trump phenomenon; they were hesitant to criticize him until late in the game. A delegate revolt at the upcoming Republican convention could very well result in violence — a better solution is to vote for the Libertarian candidate or even vote for Hillary Clinton! It really is too late to unload Trump as the Republican nominee. That’s reality.
