Estrellita “Inday/Estra” Llanto Galang of Daly City, California, passed away at Seton Medical Center on July 17, 2016 at the age of 74. Estrellita was born on December 11, 1941 in Oahu, Hawaii to parents Mariano and Severina Llanto.

After graduating from Waipahu High School, Estrellita decided to move to the Mainland, choosing the San Francisco / Bay Area as her new home. After a few years of living in San Francisco, she eventually met her future husband, Alfredo P. Galang. After marrying Alfredo, Estrellita became fascinated with computers and embarked on a successful career as support to Administra­tion for businesses ranging from several banks to a daycare.

Estrellita is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alfredo Galang, daughter Yvette Galang Sampior (George, Jr.) and son John Galang. She was a loving grandmothe­r to her grandson, Theodore Nicholas Sampior.

Services in memory of Estrellita Llanto Galang will be held at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City on Thursday July 28th (viewing will be between 4 PM - 6 PM / Vigil at 7 PM).

A Mass in honor of Estrellita Llanto Galang will be held on Friday July 29, 10:30 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 3700 Callan Blvd., in South San Francisco. Committal to follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma.
