Jack London Classic Film Festival: Screenings of “Call of the Wild,” “Sea Wolf ” and “White Fang” are the highlight of this three-day festival celebratin­g the centennial of Jack London State Historic Park and Sonoma Community Center. Dine on some of the author’s favorite dishes at themed dinners before each film, and catch preshow and postshow discussion­s. $25$100. (“White Fang” tickets $10 for kids up to age 8.) Sonoma County Extra Virgin Festival: B.R. Cohn Winery celebrates the olive harvest with this two-day event featuring olive oil producers, cookbook authors, culinary demos, food trucks, music and more. Wine and Food Affair: The Sonoma County Wine Road’s biggest event of the year takes place Nov. 5 and 6 at 100 wineries. Spend the weekend touring and tasting your way through the Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River valleys. Each stop on the route features a food pairing by a local chef.
