December 12, 1953 - December 25, 2016

Jean passed away peacefully in San Mateo, CA after a short illness. A native resident of San Mateo County, she attended St. Dunstan’s and Mills High School in Millbrae. She was funny, outspoken and independent working 42 years as a Legal Secretary at various Law Firms including Ropers Majeski; Heller Ehrman; Weil, Gotshal & Manges and Nixon Peabody.

Jean loved rock music and attended many concerts over the years to see her favorite bands. She was able to realize her dream of having a horse, and spent 20+ years tending to her baby, ‘Ginger’, at Webb Ranch in Portola Valley, her sanctuary. She also enjoyed watching the Giants and going to games whenever possible.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, John. She is survived by her mother Mary, Uncle Al (Eilene), brothers Paul and John (Judy), sister Virginia (Will), sister-in-law Janet, nephews James and Sean, nieces Emily and Lauren, many cousins, and BFFs Stephanie Noryko and Michelle Morales. She will be missed dearly by family, friends and co-workers.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Hospice & Home Care, 1670 South Amphlett Blvd., #300, San Mateo, CA 94402; (NCEFT) National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy, 880 Runnymede Rd., Woodside, CA 94062 www. NCEFT.org, or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful people at Mission Hospice who helped our Jean. Happy Trails Jean, until we meet again.
