Beloved wife of Edwin A. Heafey Jr. passed away peacefully on March 8, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home in Oakland California. Mary was born in San Francisco, CA on September 20, 1941. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. There are no words to express how much we will miss her.

Mary’s passions were her children, her family, her dogs and her garden. She cherished her wide circle of friends and in turn was admired for her strength, generosity, grace, and loving spirit.

Thanks are given to the medical professionals at UCSF including Dr Richard Glogau, Dr. Stephen Gluck. Their care and compassion allowed her to live a long life.

A private celebration of her life by family is planned.
