On TV

Catch of the day is the new adaptation of Margaret Atwood ’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” whose first three episodes are available on Hulu. Elisabeth Moss stars, with Alexis Bledel, along with Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovsky and Ann Dowd. It’s got Emmy and Peabody written all over it. I know it’s still early, but I’ve already penciled “The Handmaid’s Tale” in on my list of the year’s best shows. In fact, I’ll put it in ink. Yes, it’s that good.

The second season of the Italian import crime series “Gomorrah” premieres at 10 p.m. on Sundance TV.
