Marilyn Bell, 86, died peacefully on May 6th. Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, New York, on August 30, 1930. She is survived by her three sons: Phil, Harry & Curt; 3 daughter-in-laws: Sue, Cathy & Judy; 5 grandchild­ren: Sandy (Jenny), Lyndee (Josh), Jeff, Ali & Chloe; 1 great-grandchild Dylan. She was also widowed to her loving husband, Marvin. They were married over 52 years before Marvin passed away in 2003.

Marilyn was a glamorous woman who took pride in her appearance. She enjoyed travel, movies, socializin­g with her many friends she’s known for over 50-60 years. She also loved being with her family. Thanksgivi­ng was her favorite holiday for the family to get together. One vacation that stands out for the family was when Marilyn & Marvin took the family on an Alaskan Cruise for their 50th anniversar­y.

One of Marilyn’s biggest passions was the business she owned with Marvin. They had a family jewelry store, DeBeau’s, for 34 years. Marilyn had exquisite taste in jewelry and lit up the store with her smile and enthusiasm.

A private family service will be held at Salem Memorial in Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Jewish Charity of your choice.
