Maria Cristina “Tina” Purdy

October 27, 1919 ~ May 4, 2017

Long time resident of South San Francisco, born in El Salvador, Tina passed away peacefully at home on May 4 at the age of 97. Beloved mother to daughters Christine and Patricia. Preceded in death by her husband Stephen and siblings Teresa, Lico, Lolita, Moncho, Blanca, Nena, two infant brothers and all brother and sister inlaws. She was greatly loved by all her cousins, nieces and nephews, the extended family in the U.S. and El Salvador. She is missed by her little furry and winged babies and constant companions too. She is sorely missed by all our friends who became her extended family of the heart.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, May 11 after 4 p.m. at Duggan’s Mortuary, Daly City. Rosary vigil will be held at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Church, Colma, followed by committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
