Blues’ Bergland out until December

St. Louis Blues center Patrik Berglund is expected to be out until December after having surgery to repair a dislocated left shoulder.

The Blues say Berglund was injured during an offseason conditioni­ng program in Sweden and flew to St. Louis for Tuesday’s procedure.

Berglund, 29, scored a career-high 23 goals and finished with 34 points in 201617, adding four assists in 11 playoff games. Berglund has spent his entire nine-year NHL career with the Blues, scoring 296 points in 637 regular-season games.

The Ottawa Senators have signed goaltender Mike Condon to a three-year contract worth an average $2.4 million per season.

The Carolina Hurricanes agreed to terms with two of their own free agents — forward Brock McGinn (two years, $1.775 million) and defenseman Philip Samuelsson (one-year, two-way deal worth $650,000 in the NHL or $160,000 in the minors).

Colorado agreed to a twoyear deal with Swiss forward Sven Andrighett­o, who had five goals and 11 assists for the Avalanche after being acquired in a trade with Montreal on March 1. Corey Maggette also won’t be on the court after lower leg surgery.

In a WNBA game, Candice Dupree scored 17 points to lead the Indiana Fever to an 82-75 win at the Chicago Sky.
