Curry watches PSG roll to win in Paris

With Warriors guard Stephen Curry in attendance, French league leader Paris Saint-Germain beat Saint-Etienne 3-0 for a fourth straight win, with Edinson Cavani scoring twice and Neymar involved in two goals.

Neymar was returning Curry’s hospitalit­y — Curry hosted him as a special guest at Game 2 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena in June.

Curry took the ceremonial first kick from the center circle on the Parc des Princes field, shared a moment with Neymar and received his own No. 30 PSG jersey.

Real Salt Lake forward Ricardo Velazco was arrested on accusation­s he had unlawful sexual activity with a minor. He was suspended by Major League Soccer.

Authoritie­s say Velazco had sexual intercours­e with a 15-year-old girl in May in the Salt Lake City suburb of Draper. Velazco’s attorney, Greg Skordas, said Velazco plans to plead not guilty. He is charged with a thirddegre­e felony.

Sporting Kansas City agreed to a homegrown contract with Gianluca Busio. The 15-year-old forward from North Carolina is the youngest to sign with an MLS club since Freddy Adu, 14, joined D.C. United in 2004.

Basketball: The Phoenix Suns say second-round pick Davon Reed underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus and will be sidelined four to six months. Also, guard Brandon Knight had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, a month after he suffered the season-ending injury in a charity game.

In the WNBA, Jessica Breland scored 15 points and the visiting Chicago Sky beat the Connecticu­t Sun 96-83 . ... Maya Moore scored 24 points and the visiting Minnesota Lynx beat the San Antonio Stars 89-70 to secure a spot in the semifinals of the playoffs . ... College volleyball: Defending national champion Stanford opened its season with a 25-19, 25-21, 25-13 win at Long Beach State. Kathryn Plummer led the No. 2 Cardinal with 12 kills and 10 digs.
