Georgelyn (Lyn) M. Simon of Millbrae, CA passed away Friday November 17, 2017.

Born in Oakland, CA Georgelyn M. Macdonald she graduated from Oakland High School and received her teaching credential from San Jose State. She began her teaching career by teaching kindergart­en in Campbell and Redwood City. After raising a family Georgelyn (Lyn) taught preschool at First Presbyteri­an Church in Burlingame. From there she became a teacher/director at United Methodist nursery school in Burlingame.

Georgelyn (Lyn) was part of “The Circle” and the “Healing Team” as well as being an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Burlingame.

Georgelyn (Lyn) leaves behind and will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years George Simon and her four children and five grandchild­ren. Jean Simon (daughter), Ed (son) and Connie Simon, children Michelle and Max, Victor (son) and Suzanne Simon, Janet (daughter) and Dan Kervick, children Natasha, Thomas and Donovan.

She is also survived by cousins Betty Rae Falskow (Guy), Suzanne Bremmer and Jim Kuster (Juanite).

She is also survived by her niece Carol Fuller (Jennifer and Jim) and Bill Ferree (Amber and Logan).

A private family service will be held at St. Paul’s Church in December.
