Thomas Joseph Walsh

October 14, 1953 – January 29, 2018

Tom Walsh was born and raised in San Francisco and was the youngest child of late Thomas and Mary Walsh. He and his sisters, Rosemary and Dolores, grew up in the Outer Richmond on the steep block of 41st Ave. He was a caring husband, dedicated father, loving son, loyal brother, doting uncle and a kind and thoughtful friend. He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Thomas, daughter Coleen, sisters Rosemary and Dolores and his 5 nieces and nephews, Mark, Alison, Julie, Scott, Matt and their families and countless friends.

Tom attended Archbishop Riordan High School, Class of 1971, continuing on to attend SFSU and Seattle University. He had a strong work ethic and was employed as a mechanic for almost 30 years. He eventually moved on to constructi­on, developing several mixed-use developmen­ts in San Francisco.

Tom loved boating and cars, especially his cherished 1963 Corvette, which he began rebuilding at 15 years old. He enjoyed working on his cars with his son and watching his daughter train and ride horses. Tom was an energetic and passionate man who had a huge impact on the lives of those closest to him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Tom passed away at age 64 on January 29, 2018.

A Rosary Vigil will be held this Thursday, February 1 at 6:30pm. at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014.

A Memorial Service will be held this Friday, February 2, at 3pm at St. Peter Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd, Pacifica, CA 94044.
