The Clusterfest comedy and music festival will return to downtown San Francisco for its second year June 1-3, organizers announced Tuesday, Jan. 30.

Now called Comedy Central Presents Clusterfest — organizers are dropping “Colossal” from the moniker — the three-day event plans to take over Civic Center Plaza and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium again for a weekend of comedy, music and other wacky attractions for pop culture enthusiasts.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1. Three-day general admission early bird tickets go for $199.50, while weekend VIP passes start at $599.50. A layaway plan that provides the option to split the cost of purchased tickets into multiple payments over time is also available for the first time this year.

Co-producers Superfly and Another Planet Entertainment have not announced any performers yet, but last year’s inaugural festival included comedy headliners Kevin Hart, Bill Burr and Jerry Seinfeld, plus dozens more on two outdoor stages in front of City Hall and inside the auditorium. Music in 2017 featured sets by Ice Cube, Vince Staples, Jidenna and Lizzo.

Organizers didn’t immediately confirm that Clusterfest would be back in San Francisco at the end of the 2017 festival, which attracted more than 45,000 people to the weekend-long event.
