Melacio Martinez

Melacio Martinez, passed away peacefully, February 19, 2018, at the age of 95.

Beloved husband of the late Martha Martinez; loving father of Richard Martinez (deceased), John Martinez, Alex (and daughter-in-law Lisa) Martinez and Debbie (and son-in-law Tom) Gaffney; dear grandfather of Isabella Martinez, John Martinez and Luke Martinez; son of the late Juan and Maria Martinez; dear brother of Guadalupe, Maria Luisa, Jose, Maria de Jesus, Vicente, Balbina and Dionisio.

He was an active member of the Guadalupanos at his parish St. Gabriel’s. He was a fanatic San Francisco Giants fan. Nothing made Melacio happier or more immensely proud than his children and family.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, March 1st after 4:00pm and are invited to attend the Rosary/Vigil Service Thursday 7:00pm at DUGGAN’S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 2nd 11:00am at St. Gabriel Church, 40th and Ulloa, SF. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
