Norma Hutzler

-

On February 11, 2018 Norma passed away surrounded by her family. Norma was born in San Francisco in 1931, raised in the Ingleside, and had a fun childhood growing up in SF as the youngest of six children. In 1946, she met the love of her life, with the “best blue eyes,” Louis Hutzler, on the front steps of Balboa High School while he was sitting in a tree. They married in 1950 and for sixty three years were soulmates. She was a devoted, caring and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved conversation, giving advice, long walks, keeping a beautiful home to entertain family and friends, her jobs in retail, a good book and a good margarita. Having her in our lives, showing us strength and wisdom, has made each of us a better person. She is survived by her children Laurie(Gary) Steven(Molly) and Janet(Larry) grandchildren Jenifer, Lindsay, Thomas, Melissa, Kaitlyn, Dominic, Kelcey, Georgia, great grandchildren Aiden, Byron and Andre. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her name to Make A Wish Foundation.
