One of the other most talked about moments of London Fashion Week involved an audience (of sorts) between Queen Elizabeth II and Anna Wintour, queen of American Vogue. The monarch and the fashion editor were seated together in the first row of designer Richard Quinn’s runway show, where Her Majesty presented Quinn with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. Britishborn Wintour did not remove her sunglasses during her time with the Queen, who was seated slightly higher than other audience members, as is royal protocol.
