Nailz N Ponytailz:

It’s hard to imagine a better duo for a Thursday night turn-up than UNIIQU3 and Dai Burger. Both of these women have been pushing musical boundaries for years now and eating up the competition with their future-forward takes on Jersey Club, hip-hop and dance music in general. 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1. The New Parish, Oakland. www.thenewparish.com

Full Moon Hike: There’s something about a full moon that, especially when the weather is good, calls you outside. Club Urban Diversion is offering a full-moon hike from Aquatic Park to the Wave Organ and then to the Palace of Fine Arts. You have to be a member to attend, but you can join for as little as $5 a month. 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1. Urban Diversion Club House, S.F. www. facebook.com/Urban Diversion Throwback Thursday at Virgil’s:

For the past few months, Virgil’s Sea Room has been hosting a monthly queer throwback night. It’s always packed, and it’s always free. This month they’re getting angsty, promising a playlist that includes Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Fiona Apple, Ani DiFranco, Sinead O’Connor and Tracy Chapman. 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday, March 1. Virgil’s Sea Room, S.F. www. virgilssf.com Club Chai:

Club Chai is one of the jewels of the Bay Area club scene. In the producers’ own words, the party centers “diasporic narratives, women, and trans artists, DJs and producers and hybridizes non Western sounds with club music.” This event, though, is particularly special because it marks the unveiling of co-founder 8ulentina’s debut EP, “Eucalyptus.” 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday, March 3. Alena Studio, Oakland. www.facebook.com/ club chaibayarea Ophelia:

Artist Nadja Verena Marcin presents a solo exhibition centering one of the most iconic images ever: Hamlet’s Ophelia floating in a river, surrounded by so much green, just before she drowns. In a live performance that opens the exhibition, Marcin will float in a “salt-water solution in a life-size stainless steel sarcophagus, wearing a breathing mask and Ophelia’s dress.” 4 p.m., Saturday, March 3. Minnesota Street Project, S.F. http://min nesotastreetproject.com
