Gloria Lucia

Gloria was at peace with the Lord on April 10, 2018.

She was an exemplary family oriented “mom” to everyone, God and her family above all. Mom was a lady with lots of charm. She traveled often to Scalea, Italy, took many cruises and headed the RCI Bus Trips to the various casinos. She enjoyed the ladies outings and entertained with parties at home. Her smiles and memories will live on.

Gloria was born to Vincenzo and Angela Rosa Voto. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam, her two brothers, Vincent (dec. 1927), Vincent (dec. 1997).

Gloria’s family includes Carol Kunkle, (Russ - dec); children Edward Kunkle, Angela Kunkle (Julian Frazier, friend); Richard V. Lucia (Laura), children Patricia Lucia, Richard A. Lucia, (Christina), Elizabeth McCants, (Mathew); Great Grand Children Lauren Lucia (dec), Elijah and Lia Marie Frazier, Jaxsyn and Jaidyn Lucia, Parker and Hailey McCants. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Our heartfelt thank you to Caregiver Geneva, Dr. Tony L. Wong, Seton Hospital, Doctors and Nurses of SFGH who worked tirelessly to keep our mom comfortable for her last few days.

Visitation will begin on Monday April 16 at 5:00pm followed by the Rosary Vigil at 6:30 at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City. The Funeral Mass is Tuesday April 17 at 11:00 am at Church of the Epiphany, 827 Vienna St. at Amazon Ave. Burial to follow at the Italian Cemetery 540 F St. Colma.
