Leona (Rubino) Salzman

March 23, 1921 - April 11, 2018

Services have been held for native San Franciscan Leona Salzman, who passed away at home in Burlingame, California at the age of 97. Daughters Laura and Mary were with her. Leona taught elementary school, with an emphasis on art, then went on to become a devoted mother and homemaker. She survived husband Julius by 23 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jewish Family and Children’s Services or the Southern Poverty Law Center.
