Hilda Schopplein

January 21, 1921 ~ April 20, 2018

Hilda, a spark of light to the very end of life, passed away peacefully at home at the great age of 97 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband George, Sr. in 1990 and her beloved daughter Beverly in 1992 (Richard Rosales). She is survived by her two children; George, Jr. (Maria) and Debbie (Ed) Sutton. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who she adored. She is also survived by her brother Charlie Gross, his family and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 westlake Ave., Daly City where a Vigil Service will begin at 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 30th at 11:30am at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 107 San Pedro Rd., Daly City. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Rd., Colma.
