Elsewhere: The Kentucky Oaks features an East-West matchup between Monomoy Girl and Midnight Bisou. Monomoy Girl has five wins and a loss by a neck in six starts and comes off of a 5½-length victory in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes at Keeneland. Midnight Bisou has three wins and two losses by a nose in five starts and comes off of a 3½-length victory in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks. … Mended will try again to give trainer John F. Martin his first graded-stakes victory when she runs in the Grade 3, $100,000 Adoration Stakes on Sunday at Santa Anita. Mended won 10 straight races before finishing second in the Grade 2 La Cañada Stakes and the Grade 1 Santa Margarita Stakes at Santa Anita.
