Kershaw returns to DL
Los Angeles Dodgers lefthander Clayton Kershaw returned to the disabled list Friday, this time with a strained lower back.
In his return from a DL stint necessitated by left biceps tendinitis, Kershaw experienced tightness during his five-inning outing against Philadelphia on Thursday.
An MRI exam didn’t reveal any tears, manager Dave Roberts said, but there is inflammation and Kershaw had an injection.
“Don’t think it’s too serious,” Roberts said. “That’s a positive.”
