George Harland Muse, 64, of Stockton, California, passed away July 5, 2018, with his family by his side. Born in Denver, Colorado and later moving to California, George graduated from Berkeley High School in 1972.

With a passion for cooking, George’s career began at Chez Leon in San Francisco and ultimately ended with Aramark where he retired as Director of Food Service in 2013. Retirement gave him more time to spend with his family and to travel, the two biggest joys in life. George always said, “People won’t remember what you drove, or what clothes you wore, but will remember memories you made together.”

George is preceded in death by his Mother Mary Alice Warren and Sister Sylvia Moore, Niece Jennifer Moore and Nephew Devon Sammons. George is survived by his Wife Noi Muse, of Stockton; Daughter Jody Beard, of Atwater; and his dearly loved Granddaughters, London and Tatum Beard. Step children: Astara (Sudantha Giunaratria), Athena Blackwood (Fiance Brandon), and Apollo Blackwood. His Father Grant Muse, of South Dakota; Step Mother Sally Senior, of Berkeley; Step Father Joe Warren of New Mexico; Brother Lee Muse (Christine) and Sister Michele Clemons, of South Dakota; as well as Nieces and Nephew; and his second family, the Enos’s.

A Celebration of life will be held at Bella Luna Bistro, 350 W. Main St. Merced, Ca 95340 on July 14th at 12:00pm.
