Schedule: Thursday through Sunday Post time: 1:15 p.m. Feature simulcast race: Grade 1, $800,000 Woodbine Mile on Saturday at Woodbine Update: Sheila’s Footsteps, who has four wins, three seconds and a third in nine starts since being claimed for $4,000 by trainer Isidro Tamayo, runs in Thursday’s fourth race. The 7-year-old gelding’s in-the-money streak ended when he finished fourth in an allowance/optional $62,500 claimer July 28 at the State Fair. His other losses since the claim came by a head twice, a neck and three-quarters of a length. … Psycho Sister, who set the pace and finished second in the Luther Burbank Handicap — losing by just a head — and Savannah Slew, who finished another threequart­ers of a length back in third, run in Saturday’s fifth race. The 1-mile allowance/optional $62,500 claimer also drew Mon Petite, who missed by a nose in the 2017 Luther Burbank Handicap and who ran second to Psycho Sister in an open allowance Aug. 25 at Golden Gate Fields. … Halfway through the summer season, defending champion Irving Orozco leads the jockey standings with 18 winners from 80 mounts. Juan Hernandez (1461), William Antongeorg­i III (13-69), Abel Cedillo (13-74) and Catalino Martinez (9-56) complete the top five. … Victor Trujillo has eight winners from 28 starters and is tied atop the trainer standings with Jonathan Wong (8-33) and Jerry Hollendorf­er (8-34). Next are Tim McCanna (6-15), Tamayo (6-19) and Bill Delia (6-27).

Elsewhere: Australian superstar mare Winx seeks her 27th straight victory when she runs in the Group 1 Optic White Stakes on Saturday (10:10 p.m. PDT Friday) at Royal Randwick Racecourse. … Delta Prince and Divisadero, the 2-3 finishers from the Grade 1 Fourstarda­ve Stakes on Aug. 11 at Saratoga, head an internatio­nal field of nine for the Woodbine Mile. The other American entrants for the grass race are Good Samaritan, Oscar Performanc­e and the filly La Sardane. Mr. Havercamp, who has six wins in seven starts at Woodbine, and Vanish represent the home track. Coming from Europe are Lord Glitters, who has six wins and eight seconds in 17 starts, and Group 1 runnerup Stormy Atlantic. The Woodbine Mile highlights a program that also includes the Grade 2, $300,000 Northern Dancer Turf Stakes and the Grade 2, $250,000 Canadian Stakes.
