Russia’s strategy for U.S.

Many local citizens as well as the FBI are apparently concerned that President Trump is controlled or influenced by Russia. We know that the Russians are stellar strategic thinkers, as witnessed by their prowess as chess champions.

Has anyone considered that their real goal is to create a reaction to Trump that elects an extreme left president whose antipathy toward business and commerce reduces America to a second-rate power? Robert Stenson, Larkspur
